A very important partner of our expedition is Continental. We will use their Grand Prix 4 - Seasons tires which features 'Dura Skin'. That system protects the tube against punctures which will be very important for the non-stop ride. In their catalogue there is written:

„An extremely durable polyamide fabric that protects the extra–fine, high-performance casing from cuts, punctures and abrasion.“

That is the reason why we have chosen Continental....

We would like to introduce you our general partner. It is Hame a.s., which is the biggest food company in the Czech Republic. They are very interested in cooperation with unusual events and they decided to support us too. Last crazy expedition which they sponsored was a trip from Czech Republic to Vladivostok and back which was done by 20 years old Skoda 130 Rapid.

Thanks to Hame, we will have no problem with meals and taste. We will use mainly their sauces, pate, meat, fruit and vegetable cans, porage etc. etc. etc.

Here you can see some pictures from Nordkapp and Gibraltar. These pictures motivate us to work, to prepare everything for the expedition, to survive next couple of weeks before we start. But I suppose that you realize one picture very strange. The one with a fighter. The photo is from Gibraltar. The one road which connect the Gibraltar penninsula with the rest of Europe goes through the airport and when the aeroplanes are landing or taking off, the bars are closed and you have to wait like on the grade crossing. And then.....

Because the team members are from different countries, we do not meet eachother very often. In fact we see eachother very seldom and all the communication is going through a internet forum, skype calls, and e-mails. We were very happy that we could meet during the SPEZI show in Germany and it was very pitty that Martin was not able to come becuase of his overpressured time schedule in that moment. If you were there it was pretty easy to recognize members of NG team.

The Nordkapp-Gibraltar cyclist team is complete and preparations are starting. We are still looking for support team members, who can assist the cyclist during the expedition....
